My Story:

This painting is inspired by my deep sea diving adventures in India & outside. The sea that appears rough & aggressive on the surface feels really calm underwater. I have tried to capture the beautiful sea life I witnessed through my experience & just expressed it on my canvas. Water doesn't have a shape so I decided to go with an irregular shape of wood to represent the shapelessness of water & symbolise the limitless, endless ocean.

I painted this painting in several layers, using thick texture paint in impasto technique for all the corals. The shoal of fish swimming calmly across the water represents movement which is also considered to be a desired Vastu element in homes.

This is my original artwork painted in an abstract realistic style using mixed media and custom cut mdf wood.

This painting is varnished front and is ready to hang

This artwork can be customised into smaller sizes as well.
