Inspiration & Creative process

She’s fearless, she’s unfazed. Her aura radiates through the forest. She is the undisputed queen!

This painting is inspired by my visit to Ranthambore National Park in Rajasthan, India as a young girl. It was also my first ever visit to a national park. The whole aura of the place in the presence of a Tiger has been vividly etched in my mind.

My painting style was very expressive throughout trying to use natural elements as just trying to express the jungle feel through my eyes & heart.

I didn't start with a plan in mind nor any photo- the only thing I had in my mind was my experience of the whole place. The smells of the forest, the sounds, various animals calling to one another & I simply followed my heart & this is where it led me:)
