My Story:

This painting explores a possible point of discussion between the two kings. I tried to express the fragility of the tiger & the strength of the monarch butterfly - opposite to the common perception of their individual qualities. In a way, it attempts to show that individual has a strong side & a fragile side to them. The key is acceptance of our strongest & weakest attributes - that truly builds character.

As always, started with no plan in my mind just the two beings & I just let my heart take me where it wanted to go. Compared to my other paintings, here I have used limited elements in this painting & painted this in monochrome colours mainly. Purple is the colour of royalty making it the perfect choice for my background interspersed with dash of gold.
